This house sits on a double lot at the top of a ridge in Northern California. It has views both east and west of Angel Island, Tiburon Peninsula, Sausalito and the Golden Gate Bridge to the west. The home underwent a thorough, historical renovation/remodel, maintaining the same foot print and floor plan as its original 1912 – 1913 construction. All materials were updated to extend the life of the structure, thereby achieving modernization without losing the charm. Gardens have been extensively planted with succulents to reduce maintenance and resource usage, and to reflect the property's Mediterranean feeling in a language that unites the structure to the landscape.
