Cotswold Cottage
For this home in California, the client envisioned a Cotswold cottage. Inspiration came from visits to the Sir John Soane museum in London, as well as to several iconic homes Lutyens had designed in the Cotswolds. The home is highlighted with the best of English Arts and Crafts designs and a collection of appropriate art, antiques, and custom inspirations. In keeping with the genius of Lutyens’ work was the integration of the home with the landscape, which was carefully considered by Ron Herman.
