Belvedere Palladian

This Edwin Lutyens inspired California home takes many of its references from early last century’s great country houses. A rare collection of 19th Century paintings mixes with 17th, 18th, and 19th Century antiques from around the world, which give the residence an eclecticism that the English would be proud of.

Belvedere Palladian

This California Mediterranean Villa on a lagoon was inspired by small palazzos on Lake Como in Italy. The comfortable mix of antiques and modern upholstery has a definite Italian undercurrent. The antique Indian carpet with its soft palette inspired the all-linen upholstery. An 18th Century lacquer panel was made into a coffee table, and a fine pair of 18th Century Italian landscape paintings set the mood for both Roman antiquities and Han Dynasty artifacts.
